The Underground Princess is Awesome Indies Approved

Awesome Indies Approved

The Underground Princess has been awarded a place on the Awesome Indies list of quality fiction! Now, what does that mean? Why does this matter? Who is Awesome Indies? Let’s play a little Q&A:

Q. What does this mean?

A. This means that the folks over at AI reviewed the book and found it quality enough to back it with their Badge of Approval. This is a good thing… at least I think so 😉

Q. But why does this matter?

A. This makes me like 15% more awesome than I was this morning…. No? Ok. Well, then this matters because the book has been recognized by an accreditation service. This book has now won an award and is being backed by a point-and-check name in the industry.

Q. So you say, but just who is Awesome Indies?

A. My answer is that they are like a weigh station on a highway… a highway of writing. Yeah, I can get down with that. My book is this metaphorical truck that, before moving on and affecting everyone on the road, was pulled off to the side and inspected. They let me pass while pinning their badge on my bright-eyed and bushy-tailed truck called The Underground Princess.

Their answer is a little different, but I think they mean the same thing. These are some words pulled directly from their about page on their website:

The Awesome Indies is an indie book accreditation service that approves independently published works of fiction that meet the same standards as books published by mainstream publishers – as evaluated by publishing industry professionals. We aim to showcase books that meet a specific set of standards for fiction writing so readers can browse for indie books knowing they will be buying well-crafted works.”

Q. Did you just write a bunch of questions and then answer them yourself?

A. Why, yes. Yes I did.

So there you have it, folks. I’m officially Awesome Indies Approved!

Blog Shoutout – Delrain (Hunter Lowe) Reviews The Underground Princess

Author and Blogger, Delrain (Hunter Lowe) took the time to review and write a blog post about The Underground Princess. Check it out, share it, enjoy it. It’s good to see honest reviews like this.

“I’d like to make some suggestions that you may not hear about from box-office movie adaptations, but from places you may not have taken the time to look. There are myriads of talented writers ranging from literature for children to adult non-fiction that many of us simply overlook because they aren’t plastered on the front of a newspaper or magazine. On that note, I’d like to introduce a title I had a wonderful time reading, and would most certainly recommend to any parent or young reader looking for a strong story to join the ranks of their favorite titles…”
